Your mission
We are looking for a proactive, hands-on HR Generalist to manage people-related matters across the company. In this role, you are the main point of contact for employees and leaders on all HR topics. You help build scalable HR processes, strengthen company culture, and support a positive employee experience as the company grows.
You support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, employee engagement, compensation, and employee relations. This role suits someone who enjoys working across different HR areas, can manage multiple priorities, and brings structure where needed.
Key responsibilities;
Employee Experience & Culture: Serve as the main point of contact for employee-related questions and help foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing company culture.
HR Operations & Administration: Own and improve HR policies, processes, and documentation; maintain employee records and HR systems accurately and confidentially; manage contracts, benefits administration, leave management, case management, and payroll coordination; and ensure compliance with Dutch labour law and internal policies.
Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment, partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, and help improve recruitment strategies.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for new hires and a well-managed offboarding process for employees leaving the organization.
Performance & Development: Support performance review cycles, identify learning and development needs, advise managers on performance and career development conversations, and contribute to succession planning and organizational growth initiatives.
Your expertise and qualities
To be successful in this role, you are a proactive and approachable HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and supporting people across the full employee lifecycle. ‘
You have the following profile:
3–5 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a generalist HR role
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
Experience in a scale-up, startup environment
Knowledge of HR operations and Dutch labour law
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities independently
A hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
Fluency in English and Dutch
