To support this growth, we are strengthening our commercial operations with a fulltime (40 hrs) Sales & Marketing Assistant.
Your mission
As a Sales & Marketing Assistant, you play an integral role within our commercial team and contribute directly to the day-to-day success of SCIL’s operations. In this role, you are a central point of coordination, helping to maintain clear and effective communication with our customers and partners around the world. You work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, sales managers, application engineers, and external partners, supporting the continued growth of SCIL’s global business.
What makes this position unique is its hands-on and versatile nature. No two days are exactly the same, and you proactively step in where needed, identifying opportunities to support the team. Whether it’s handling customer requests, supporting campaigns, or assisting the sales team, you take ownership and ensure tasks are followed through effectively.
Key responsibilities
Support the sales team in managing customer accounts and inquiries, ensuring a smooth and professional customer journey
Prepare quotations, marketing materials, presentations, sales reports and other product- and marketing documents
Maintain and continuously improve our CRM system, website and social media presence
Track customer interactions and proactively follow up on leads and opportunities
Prepare and coordinate trade shows, conferences, industry events, customer visits, and workshops, including travel arrangements.
Help manage marketing campaigns and lead generation activities
Coordinate internal communication between sales, marketing, and engineering teams
Contribute broadly across the organization, taking on ad hoc tasks and supporting different teams where needed in our dynamic startup environment
What do you need
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or communications
At least 2 years of experience in sales support, marketing coordination, or commercial administration. Experience in a high-tech or international business environment is a plus
You have strong organizational and multitasking skills, can be described as proactive and have a detail-oriented work style
As a person you can easily switch between tasks and manage multiple priorities. Your way of working is highly organized and structured
You are a fluent and strong communicator in English. Knowledge of the Dutch language is nice to have, but not a must
Experienced with working in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
You are a service-oriented person and a true collaborator
Curiosity and eagerness to learn about advanced technology is highly appreciated for this role
