Industrialisation Engineer
Turn breakthrough plasma technology into a scalable product: improve designs, suppliers and production while helping farmers grow food without chemicals.
Industrialisation Engineer at VitalFluid
Help turn breakthrough technology into a scalable product.
Ten machines next year. Hundreds after that. That's the challenge.
At VitalFluid, we use plasma technology to help farmers grow food without chemicals. Our machines are already deployed in real agricultural environments, and we are scaling up quickly. The next step is to make sure every machine is built faster, smarter, more consistently, and at a lower cost.
That isn't a manufacturing challenge alone. It's an engineering challenge.
We're looking for an Industrialisation Engineer who can bridge the gap between design and production and help transform a highly innovative machine into a scalable product platform.
If you enjoy working with suppliers, improving manufacturability and making complex products easier to build, you'll probably feel right at home here.
Your role
You'll operate right at the intersection of engineering, operations and manufacturing partners. Some days you'll be reviewing CAD files, BOMs and technical documentation. Other days you'll be on a supplier's production floor, identifying opportunities to reduce build time, improve quality or simplify assembly.
The goal is always the same: Build a better product, faster and more efficiently.
Drive industrialisation projects across mechanical and electrical assemblies;
Work closely with manufacturing partners to improve build quality and consistency;
Review designs and identify DFM and DFS improvements;
Reduce production costs through smarter engineering decisions and component choices;
Improve manufacturing documentation, assembly instructions and technical handovers;
Evaluate alternative suppliers and components to improve supply chain resilience;
Support engineering change management and production readiness;
Help evolve VitalFluid from build-to-print towards a scalable build-to-order model.
Who we’re looking for
We're looking for somebody with a strong engineering foundation and a practical mindset. What matters most is that you've experienced the transition from engineering design to manufacturing reality.
You don't need to be the person doing every redesign yourself. You do need to be the person who sees what needs fixing and makes sure it happens.
You probably bring:
Around 3 to 7 years of relevant experience;
Experience with DFM and production optimization;
Strong understanding of technical drawings, CAD models and BOM structures;
Experience working with suppliers or contract manufacturers;
A proactive personality and the ability to push improvements forward;
The confidence to challenge existing solutions when needed.
Why VitalFluid
Most industrialisation environments focus on mature products. This one doesn't.
You'll join at a moment where critical engineering and manufacturing decisions are still being made. Your work will directly influence machine cost, product quality, manufacturing efficiency and scalability.
Few industrialisation roles offer that level of visibility and impact.
