Step into tomorrow’s technology
Imagine leading the charge in nanoimprint lithography, driving advancements that touch everything from AR/VR smart glasses and AI data centers to cutting-edge biosensors and microLEDs. SCIL Nanoimprint Solutions, a spin-out from Philips, has innovation running through its veins. Our mission? Empower high-volume manufacturing clients across diverse industries with technology that transforms possibilities. Based on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven—the heart of Europe’s tech scene—we’re ready to expand globally and redefine what’s possible. Join us, and let’s shape the future together.
As we transition from pioneering innovation to professionalized, high-volume deployment, we are strengthening our manufacturing and customer implementation capabilities.
We are looking for a senior, hands-on Senior Product Process Engineer with a strong background in semiconductor production, yield improvement, and statistical process control, who thrives in an environment where ownership, execution, and continuous improvement are key.
Your mission
As Senior Production Process Engineer, you are the technical driver ensuring that SCIL’s nanoimprint technology delivers stable, scalable, and high-yield performance in production environments, both internally and at customer fabs. You operate independently, take end-to-end ownership, and use data-driven methodologies to continuously improve processes, yields, and robustness.
You act as the bridge between R&D, manufacturing, and customers, translating advanced technology into reliable industrial solutions. You will;
Lead process industrialization of SCIL nanoimprint technology for customer production lines;
Drive yield improvement using statistical data analysis, SPC, DOE, and root-cause methodologies;
Analyze production data to identify trends, variations, and improvement opportunities;
Set up, qualify, and optimize processes in customer fab environments;
Define and control process windows, KPIs, and quality metrics;
Own process documentation, work instructions, control plans, and qualification reports;
Support tool and module qualification, ramp-up, and volume manufacturing readiness;
Act as a key technical interface to customers, providing hands-on support and clear communication;
Collaborate closely with R&D, applications, and engineering teams to close the loop between development and production;
Contribute to scaling SCIL’s production maturity as the company grows from startup to scale-up;
Occasional international travel to customers and manufacturing sites is part of the role.
Your expertise and qualities
We’re looking for someone who combines strategic insight with a hands-on approach to drive meaningful, long-term impact in complex, high-tech sales environments;
BSc or MSc in Applied Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field;
5+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor production or process engineering;
Proven track record in yield improvement and process stabilization in high-volume manufacturing;
Strong practical experience with statistical data analysis, including SPC, DOE, Cp/Cpk, and root-cause analysis;
Experience introducing new processes or products into customer fabs;
Comfortable working independently; self-managing, structured, and execution-focused;
Able to move seamlessly between data analysis, hands-on tool work, and customer-facing discussions;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
Thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys building structure where it doesn’t yet exist.
What do we offer?
At SCIL Nanoimprint, you’ll find an environment that values innovation and initiative. Here’s what you can expect;
Freedom and ownership: You’ll have the autonomy to shape your work and approaches, implementing strategies within broad guidelines;
Competitive rewards: with a market-aligned salary range (€ 5.800 – € 7.000 gross/month).
